Hi,
Just thought I'd log an annoying little buglet on OSX. If you switch away from the app (either by clicking on another window, or switching to another Spaces screen), when you switch back to RUBE nothing responds properly. For example, all the entries in the Items list are disabled, and you can't click on any toolbar buttons.
Only way around it is to minimise the app and restore it again.
Thanks,
M
OSX: Focus problem
Re: OSX: Focus problem
I also find this incredibly annoying. I think it's an issue with Qt on Mac, because the app itself is not really doing anything when being switched away from and back to. I have also noticed that the focus of the editor view can also be lost, causing some of the menu items that rely on a specific scene being active (eg. Export) to do nothing, even though the menu item itself remains active. This one is probably more likely to be something I've done wrong, but I haven't found a fix for it yet.
Both of these issues can be fixed by clicking in the scene (right-click if you don't want to alter the selection). I have not found it necessary to minimize the app.

Ah yeah - right-click in the scene is a much better workaround - thanks
