Re: RUBE crash when custom item labels are enabled.

Hi Chris, in the meantime I have been encountering crashes with my own Qt Software and I am pretty sure that the problem got caused by a Mac software to extend the desktop to a iPad called Duet. I have uninstalled Duet and now my software does not crash any more. I will report back if the problems w...

Re: Save world to .rube file from script

Mmmhhh, thinking about the crash of point 2) above and the crash in http://www.iforce2d.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=480. Could the crashes be caused by Rube picking up some Qt 5.5 libs from my system, while Rube is based on Qt 4.8 ? Maybe Rube needs to run in virtualenv or be statically linke...

Re: Save world to .rube file from script

Hi, thanks for your answer, calling rube from the command line works well. I do have two problems here though: 1) I tried searching for an issue in the forum where you had answered regarding scripting and export. But when type anything in the forum search I do just get: The following words in your s...

RUBE crash when custom item labels are enabled.

Hi Chris, I could finally isolate a lingering crash of Rube and I have created a way for you to reproduce the issue. For the crash to happen, a few things need to be enabled: - A scene with quite a few items is needed. - A custom label script needs to be set - A script runs which takes and resizes a...

Re: Single joint properties

Hi Chris, I do have a problem with mutiple joints as well. I know I can right click on the joints and then decide which joint I would like to select. If i then use the escape key I can "backwards" navigate the multiple joint selection and see the properties of the selected joint in the Pro...

Help pages: Wrong menu mentioned

Hi Chris, just noticed that the help for dynamic labels is wrong. Current text: To help improve this situation, you can turn on "Use dynamic label placement" under the Controls tab of the Options dialog. Correct: To help improve this situation, you can turn on "Use dynamic label place...

RUBE save scene after destroying and rebuilding joint

Hi Chris, I am using the b2dJson::writeToFile of b2dJson to write out the current world state. That has worked quite well till now, but now I do get problems after I have destroyed and then rebuild several joints with custom properties. Basically, I do get the custom properties, as well as the name ...
