Has anybody tried the RUBE editor on Windows 10 yet?

My laptop wants to install it, but I don't want to mess up my rube installation (at a key point in game development). Anybody tried it yet and is it ok?

I want to create a paternoster lift which is basically a platform that follows an elliptical path ( wiki pic ) It looks like I can't use just a prismatic joint since it's only a straight line, and a revolute joint is only a circle, so maybe a mix can produce an ellipse? That works perfectly, thank you very much :D I was obviously confusing myself with too many things - seems obvious now that I only needed one distance joint between each bar, plus the reference angle.
